Welcome to The Ideal Foundation

"To be with another in this [empathic] way means that for the time being, you lay aside your own views and values in order to enter another's world without prejudice" (Rogers, 1959).

The Ideal Foundation aims to empower practitioners working  in health and social care to equip them with the tools needed to empathise and provide levels of excellence for care and support. This is done by providing comprehensive theoretical training and practical skills which can be used at all levels of practice.

The Ideal Foundation of how to work with an individual, is to try to understand where they come from and where they wish to be.
